Finally back after more than a month... Well, it's not that i don't wanna post but just nothing to post about lar. So shall sum everything up under 1 post instead. =P Ok, August was the month for our nation's birthday... First, there was the fireworks festival of which i caught the opening... Shall upload the short video clips i took with my phone slight later but here's a photo taken from adrian. =P
And well... i have turned into a showgal!
Not! I'm actually the girlfriend of Ryosuke Takahashi! =P Haha.. Took this photo at the motor store over at marina south. They have pretty nice cars but too bad not my beloved skyline...
Well... on national day itself, i was actually amongst the crowd over at the esplanade catching the fireworks.. Will put up the video clips slightly later as well.. What else did i do? Hmm.. Oh yeah, i hosted the national day party for the CC as well. It was fun especially playing with the kids and i actually had the guts to help yati sing backup in front of everyone! And not to mention it was the first time Dr. Lee Boon Yang actually came up to me to shake my hand and say a job well done. Sense of accomplishment aye! Think i might take part in the inter-GRC karaoke... =P
August also marked the start of school for me and boy has it been hectic. Already handed in a pile of assignments although school has barely started for around a month and the worst is yet to come. Been trying to catch up on my readings as well since i'm doing double literature modules this semester. From the familiar and easy ready Romeo and Juliet to the plan "blur" of School of Scandals and Waiting for Godot, etc which makes up most of the reading. *sigh*
Yeap, that sorts of sums up for August and don't really have much to say for september to date. Well, maybe except that my guys have started their inter-constituency competition. Lost the first match... *sigh* but hope for the better in our next. Wish us luck and strength, k!
